It's a family thing

I Introduce you to the Dlugos family.

Todd, Kelly, Matt, Kate and Aly were troopers and stuck with me  even though their cheeks were probably hurting from all the smiling :-).  It's always fun to photograph families that really seem to actually like each other, and this group didn't disappoint.....

Todd and Kelly and the kids live near the West Virginia Botanic Gardens so it was a natural place to choose for their photos.  If you haven't been and you live in the Morgantown area, you need to make it!  It's beautiful and it's free....... and I promise you you'll leave with a smile on your face for spending some time with nature.

When I first met with Kelly to talk about their session she explained to me that like the majority of families out there, they just haven't made the time for a family portrait in awhile.  It's easy to let the time slip by, but it is so important to make the time so you can have that treasure to look back before the kids are on their way to making their own lives.

Kelly really wanted to get the family on their porch......

this is where they spend a lot of their time and I can't argue that it wasn't a great idea!
